Out client base consists of both retail and wholesale customers on a local and national basis. Our knowledgeable staff and comprehensive showroom and on-site manufacturing facility combined with our unique vision will provide a tailored look to fit your project and budget.

We offer a variety siding products are available in half-log, lap and panel sidings. Trim products are available to compliment your siding selection. Exterior doors are also available with many different options. We also offer solid wood paneling, custom flooring, stair parts, millwork, mouldings, doors, cabinets and countertops are all components of our interior offerings.

Products and Services

Capabilities. Standard and custom profiles are available. Our on-site knife grinding capabilities allow us to custom profile to your requirements.
Equipment. Our equipment includes two moulders, wide belt sander, joiner, resaw, ripsaw, double-end trim, planer, and shaper. Custom grades of materials selected to match the particular customer’s needs.
Commercial/Industrial. Industrial applications are available through our Cass Lake sawmill and kiln operations including pine lumber — 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 etc. in 8 to 20 foot lengths.
Services. Custom milling is available for a customer’s wood.
Local Materials. The bulk of our inventory has all been harvested within a 150 mile radius of our Aitkin facility. Local Aitkin County hardwoods are FSC certified. Please contact us for availability.
Distribution. Local, regional, and national to consumers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and manufacturer’s representatives.
History. Aitkin Hardwoods has grown its operations on a facility four miles west of Aitkin, MN on Highway 210. The Aitkin operation was established in 1998 and is a division of Cass Forest Products located in Cass Lake, MN. Our operations are employee-owned.
Associations. The company is a member of the Mid-Minnesota Builders Association and the National Wood Floor Association.
