Capabilities. Our computerized systems, integrated throughout every stage in the manufacturing process, allow us to produce quality pieces (mouldings, cabinets, shelves, countertops, and more) with excellent customer service. While we pride ourselves on following AWI specifications, we can easily fabricate to any custom or modular specifications; and quite often we build to higher standards than a specification requires. Our skilled workforce offers decades of woodworking and craftsmanship experience to help you achieve the quality you are expecting. Our 25,000 square foot facility is equipped with modern machining equipment — including a CNC nested base routing center, CNC edge banding machines, and precision boring machines — as well as a comprehensive finishing department. We are continually investing in new computer-aided machines to provide the best services for our clients. Through the use of CNC we are able to significantly decrease manufacturing errors, improve product turn-around, and decrease material waste. AutoCAD technology and Microvellum programming enhance and expedite our production process to complete projects in a timely fashion. Centered on customer service and quality craftsmanship, SMW offers complete service packages to our clientele. These comprehensive packages include working with architects, contractors, construction managers and owners on all aspects of a given project.
