Hedstrom Lumber Company, Inc.

Hedstrom is a Minnesota manufacturer of specialty lumber products for wholesale clients. We offer a wide range of products the needs of manufacturers, wholesalers,and retail lumber yards.

Products. All products are produced from locally sourced red pine, white pine, and spruce. Standard grades and custom grades are available in sizing from 1 x 4 to 12 x 12 in lengths up to 20’. Core products include red pine commons and selects in 1 x 4 through 1 x 8, timbers 3 x 4 through 4 x 6, and SPFs dimension in 2 x 4 through 2 x 12.

Sustainability. Hedstrom Lumber Company ensures that our products come from responsibly managed forests that are environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous. Our log procurement policies were developed to meet the objectives set by FSC in the US and Canada to provide our FSC partners certified sustainable and socially responsible wood products.
We also partner with US Forest Service on stewardship projects to improve forest health, wildlife habitat, and recreation opportunities in the Superior National Forest. Past projects include forest thinning, site preparation for replanting, removal of trees damaged by pests or fire, and wildlife habitat improvement.
