Envelope. Logs. Softwood lumber including framing lumber. Timbers.
Interior. Fireplace mantles. Hardwood lumber. Half logs for stairway steps and stringers. Unique pieces of wood including burl slabs and spalted maple.
Home Furnishings. Rustic furnishings including tables, table tops, custom bars, bartops. countertops, pub tables, stools, and coffee and end tables.
Home Decor & Gifts. Candle holders, wall hangings, clocks, photo and art frames, and gifts. Unique wood carvings.
Custom Services. Sawing, slabbing mill, and lumber edging. Custom sawing of customer's wood and logs to specifications.
Local Materials. All woods are local native species.
Distribution. Local and regional. Retial, contractors, wholesale.
CERTIFICATIONS
True North Woods. The company offers True North Woods certified products that are produced from materials harvested from the sustainably manged forests of northern Minnesota. In its operation, a "whole tree use" approach is applied, thereby using all the wood waste scrap and sawdust for green energy use and the other wood pieces for the creation of unique and rustic home furnishings.
FSC. Certification Code SCS-COC-002432B. The company is a member of the True North Certified Forest Products Network.
CAPABILITIES
Creative Sawmilling & Products is capable of milling logs from 4 to 20 feet long and up to 30 inches in diameter on a Woodmizer band mill and from 4 to 16 feet and up to 48 inches in diameter on a slabber mill. Custom edging capabilities are from 3 to 34 inches wide and 3/4 to larger thicknesses. Custom chain slabbing mill services are also available.
HISTORY
Creative Sawmilling & Products was formed in 2002 when a life-long hobby was transformed into a unique and custom wood products business.
